Why I started RC Tech Tips

RC cars are expensive, and the hobby can come to a griding halt if your car breaks. I started RC Tech Tips because sometimes all you need is a push in the right direction to get the most out of the hobby. If you buy a very poor-quality RC car, it is likely to break down quickly. On the other hand, professional RC cars can cost thousands of dollars. My goal at RC tech tips is to strike a balance between recommending professional quality RC cars and really crummy cars. In this blog, you will find how-to articles, informational posts, product comparisons, and product reviews. We do not only review RC cars, but we also review individual parts and components that will help you upgrade your car to its full potential. If you have any questions, feel free to drop us a note on our contact us page. You can also check out my author bio for more information about me.

Do You Only Review RC Cars?

While the blog is focused primarily on RC cars, I own and fly drones, airplanes, helicopters, boats, and scale construction equiptment. As the blog grows, expect to see more content around helicopters, planes, and drones. The thing about RC cars is most components and parts are very simliar. All RCs have electric motors, servos, transmitters, and receivers. Many concepts about RC car maintenance can be translated over to a drone or plane.
